Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the project Scheduling and Planning group within the Engineering and Construction Division. This position will support the development, engineering, and construction of diverse energy technologies, including Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, and Transmission Lines. The role involves creating, maintaining, and progressing project schedules using Primavera P6, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring projects adhere to approved timelines through their entire life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead scheduling processes for maintenance, compliance, and project execution to meet real-time system conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and progress project schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
  • Prepare monthly reports for construction projects, comparing the baseline schedule to the progress schedule, including critical path method, resource loading, and cost loading.
  • Evaluate and approve OASIS requests and Tags, and perform energy accounting functions.
  • Develop work orders and ensure coordination between operational teams.
  • Evaluate and improve work management execution, participate in event response, and lead root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate committing, de-committing, and outages of power plants with the System Operator.
  • Report project status and variances to management in a clear and concise manner.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management, or a similar field is required. A professional certification is also acceptable.

Experience: 11 - 15 years of experience in managing power system scheduling, project execution, and compliance reporting. Alternatively, a candidate with 3+ years of scheduling experience or 4+ years in Project Management with a background in tracking project plans against baselines may be considered.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with scheduling software, such as Primavera P6. Strong analytical abilities to review, critique, and validate external information. Knowledge of NERC compliance and operational reliability standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma methodologies.
