Power BI + Snowflake Engineer

Role Overview:We are looking for a Power BI + Snowflake Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern data analytics and visualization solutions for MGX’s enterprise-level data platform. The role combines expertise in data modelling, ETL integration, and business intelligence reporting to transform raw Snowflake data into actionable insights using Power BI. Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for business and operational analytics.Design and implement data models (Star/Snowflake schema) optimized for analytics on Snowflake.Build SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures in Snowflake for reporting and data consumption layers.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance.Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and performance optimization within Power BI and Snowflake.Connect and integrate Power BI with Snowflake via ODBC / DirectQuery / Import modes.Support data ingestion pipelines from ETL tools (e.g., DBT, Airflow, Fivetran, Informatica) as needed.Create reusable templates and maintain documentation for reporting standards and metadata.Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to translate KPIs and metrics into analytical solutions.
