Principal Financial Analyst (full-time remote)

<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br><br></strong>BAE Systems' Electronic Systems (ES) Sector is currently seeking a Financial Analyst Principal to support the Material & Inventory Management (MIM) Finance Team. The candidate selected for this position will be joining a team of subject matter experts responsible for managing the financial impact of inventory activity, supporting program and functional teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain compliance with our Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS). This candidate will be responsible for financial controls related to inventory management, assessing financial impacts of process automation and changes, audits of over $1B of inventory, and reporting of key financial indicators. This role includes engaging with multiple sites, functions, and program teams across the sector. This unique position provides an opportunity to learn how BAE Systems functions, from both a financial and operational perspective.<br><br>Although this role is considered <br><br><strong>full time remote<br></strong>, there may be <br><br><strong>limited travel<br></strong>, and will also be <br><br><strong>occasional in-person meetings with NH-based functional personnel<br></strong>, along with various programs and sites, which <br><br><strong>requires the applicant to live within approximately 50 miles of Nashua, NH<br></strong>. <br><br><strong> ***Out-of-area applicants will not be considered for this role.***<br><br><br><br><br></strong><strong>Job Responsibilities<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Provide financial insights through inventory activity analysis to reduce financial risks and streamline operations</li><li>Develop and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value add activities</li><li>Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and disposition variances in a timely manner</li><li>Gain exposure to Senior Management through project initiatives such as implementation of new tools and processes</li><li>Provide monthly executive level reporting on Inventory status and metrics, and assist in regular internal and external audits</li><li>Support Finance, Operations and Program teams through informal and formal trainings and Learning Sessions</li><li>Gain a comprehensive understanding of Supply Chain procedures and their financial impact on the business<br><br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Education, Experience, & Skills<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of work experience or equivalent experience</li><li>Proficient Microsoft Office skills –Word, Power Point, Excel (ex: VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIF, PivotTables, Filters, etc.)</li><li>Ability to work independently, self-motivated, process/results oriented</li><li>Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written across multiple functions and leadership levels<br><br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills<br><br><br></strong><ul><li>Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures</li><li>Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills</li><li>Experience within internal controls, audit and/or accounting</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (ie Oracle)</li><li>Familiarity with DFAR, FAR, MMAS, and general Inventory and financial policies and procedures<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Pay Information<br><br></strong>Full-Time Salary Range: $101398 - $172377<br><br>Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
