Position Overview: As a Private Aviation Security Screener with Elite Team Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Eliteair travelers. This position offers flexible hours (by demand), paid training, compensation for travel (as needed), and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and engaging environment. Due to federal regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens by birth or naturalization, with a birth certificate, passport, or naturalization certificate. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and security and possess basic technical skills to navigate web-based platforms, Additional requirements are listed below. Performance Responsibilities: - Treat all information as confidential. - Project a positive, well-groomed, professional image to clients, staff, and the public in a courteous manner. - Focus on providing Elite service to all those involved with the operation. - Coordinate, secure, and set up screening locations according to guidelines, customer needs, and the environment. - Communicate effectively with private charter passengers, colleagues, clients, and other airport staff. - Verify passengers’ identities and clear discrepancies before directing them to the screening area. - Inspect passengers and accessible belongings for prohibited/hazardous items before granting access to the aircraft. - Ensure continuous supervision of screened passengers until they board the aircraft. - Assess situations and notify local law enforcement and/or the airline Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) when necessary. - Report all government tests, real weapons, injuries, and other major incidents to the supervisor immediately. - Keep the supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area, and report maintenance needs. - Perform other duties as requested. Requirements: - Must be a minimum of 18 years or older - Must be a United States citizen via birthright or naturalization (permanent residents are not eligible) to adhere to federal regulations. - Must pass and maintain a 10-year criminal history background check. - Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol test and submit to random tests. - Possess a high school diploma or GED/equivalent. - Proficiency in communicating in English with diverse people. - Physically capable standing throughout a two to four-hour shift with constant bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.). - Reliable transportation to and from various locations that the screener accepts. - Successful completion of all required training and ongoing certification training as needed. - Must have a cell phone, e-mail account, and skills to navigate web-based platforms.
