Responsibilities

  • Producing mammography screenings by following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients.
  • Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.

Requirements

  • ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required.
  • ARRT certification in mammography is required.
  • Mammography experience is required.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential.
  • Some lifting is involved with this position.
