Product Manager, HR Applications (Workday/VNDLY)

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the system configuration activities for our new contingent workforce system, VNDLY. This role will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Corporate Technology teams to streamline internal processes, lead implementation efforts, and provide ongoing product maintenance. The ideal candidate is innovative and has experience administering contingent workforce tools that support internal programs and strategy.

You would be joining the HR Applications team in the Corporate Technology organization, focused on architecting and building enterprise business applications that improve processes, reduce risk, and enhance our Employee and People Leader experiences. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a proven track record and passion for applying creativity to solve technical challenges while establishing deep partnerships and alignment with various internal business stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the system configuration of our VNDLY platform that includes full end-to-end design, testing, and deployments
  • Partner closely with our internal contingent workforce stakeholders to develop an ongoing roadmap focused on VNDLY feature enhancements, automations, and improving the overall user experience.
  • Facilitate cross-functional requirements sessions to gather, document, and analyze product requirements and functional specs
  • Design proof of concepts and lead demonstrations to help influence solutions that will support long term scalability within VNDLY
  • Provide operational support maintaining security access requests, workflow modifications, custom fields, reporting, and data uploads for both VNDLY and core Workday HCM
  • Develop reporting requests for internal stakeholders and thoroughly validated for accuracy before deploying to production
  • Lead user acceptance testing and support internal change management efforts
  • Monitor and plan for feature releases in both VNDLY and Workday that impact our contingent workforce processes
  • Develop and maintain user guides for employees, managers, and internal process owners
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and CorpTech to troubleshoot errors, identify root causes, and plan remediation
  • Adhere to change management controls by documenting work, rigorously testing, and planning deployments in conjunction with other key dependencies
  • Build productive internal/external working relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience configuring contingent workforce tooling in addition to core Workday HCM administration.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and supporting a variety of system configurations within contingent workforce tooling with deep understanding of downstream impacts throughout the system
  • Familiarity with various contingent workforce programs, contracts, and policies
  • Strong understanding of core Workday HCM related to worker lifecycle processes and organizational structures
  • Experience with managing security group permissions with ability to independently research and troubleshoot user security access issues
  • Capability of leading end-to-end feature implementations, from initial concept to implementation
  • Basic to intermediate experience creating custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience maintaining data connectors and basic integrations between contingent workforce tooling, Workday, and other internal systems
  • Understanding of SOX controls and change management processes
  • Prior knowledge and experience working in sprints and following agile methodology is helpful
  • Strong work ethic and accountability to make sure project goes well, being equally comfortable taking personal ownership of multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate well with others
  • Exceptional independent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong desire to learn and take on new challenges to support the growth and success of our VNDLY and Workday ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. $130,000$182,000 USD
