About the position

The Product team at Expedia Group builds high-quality, end-to-end experiences that power how travelers discover, evaluate, and book their trips - while enabling our partners and internal teams to operate efficiently at global scale. We work in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Marketing, and Supply to drive measurable growth, customer trust, and long-term platform value. This role sits within the Content Product organization - the team responsible for the foundational systems that power how content is ingested from suppliers, evaluated for accuracy and completeness, moderated for policy compliance, enriched for quality and relevance, and ultimately surfaced across Expedia Group brands. Our scope spans core data assets including text, amenities and attributes, images and video, reviews, places, and destination content - as well as the internal tools, workflows, and platform services that make our content scalable, reliable, and AI-ready. You will drive the next generation of our Content Platform by advancing quality, evaluation and moderation capabilities through AI-driven automation and intelligent tooling. Your work will help us scale content operations efficiently while improving accuracy, trust, and consistency directly benefiting travelers through better discovery, clearer information, and more confident booking decisions. This role will shape platform capabilities that accelerate content ingestion and enrichment while raising the bar on end-to-end quality, governance, and transparency.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product vision and strategy for foundational Content Platform capabilities, ensuring strong alignment to traveler trust, partner value, and business outcomes across multiple domains.
  • Own and evolve the roadmap for content-related systems, services, and internal tools - translating complex traveler, partner, and operational needs into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner deeply with Engineering and Machine Learning Scientists to design scalable platform capabilities, including APIs, schemas, service architecture, and data models that power content ingestion, evaluation, enrichment, and moderation.
  • Lead AI-enabled product innovation, integrating machine learning and automation into content workflows to improve quality, compliance, and operational efficiency while maintaining strong governance and safety standards.
  • Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive decision-making, experimentation, and continuous optimization of content workflows, platform performance, and user experiences.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally across Product, Supply, Marketing, Design, Analytics, Trust & Safety, and Brand teams to ensure successful launches, adoption, and sustained platform impact.
  • Raise the bar on operational excellence, improving reliability, transparency, scalability, and quality across content services and pipelines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field; or 3+ years with a Master’s degree or equivalent practical product management experience.
  • Experience owning a service or set of platform capabilities end-to-end, from problem definition and requirements through launch, adoption, and iteration.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled systems and experience partnering with technical teams to apply machine learning concepts to real-world product challenges.
  • Ability to engage deeply on technical topics, including service architecture, APIs, data contracts, and content data modeling.
  • Proven experience using data, metrics, and experimentation frameworks to inform prioritization and measure product impact.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience defining and scaling platform or content products from early concept through broad adoption.
  • Background in content platforms, content management systems, structured and unstructured data systems, localization/globalization workflows, and products operating at scale.
  • Experience shaping cross-team integration patterns for content services, including APIs, schemas, taxonomy, and governance standards.
  • Track record of driving operational rigor across reliability, performance, moderation, compliance, and quality systems.
