Job Description:

An opportunity for a Building & construction engineer/architect has arisen within Airbus Defense and Space, Getafe, Madrid

The selected candidate will join the Facility Management Real Estate (FMRE) team and inside FMRE, the Building Construction team. FMRE is a key department in Airbus in charge of: ESG policies in the facilities, all civil works, supply and management of energy, transportation, hospitality, maintenance of the facilities, designing the spaces of the offices, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Deliver civil works

2. Design facilities and spaces

3. Manage constructions and works

4. Apply ESG concepts

5. Apply the Airbus leadership model

SKILLS

Technical skills we are looking for: being accountable and responsible for building and construction works and projects under Airbus responsibility:

  • Engineering Architecture  (engineering level &61; EQF7 / MECES 3)

  • Building background

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and/or infrastructure projects ( 10&43; years of experience preferred)

  • Valuable experience in construction projects in the industrial sector.

  • Project management experience / Project management skills

  • Quality assurance

  • Technical management

  • Procedures follow up

  • CapEx/OpEx & finance control

  • R&O management

  • Planning management

  • Licenses & administration management

  • Negotiation level of English
     

Mandatory experience in building & construction area, as an engineer in field/or as a project technical manager.


In terms of leadership, the successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills:
