Reporting directly to the GSI NAM Service Leader, this position provides strategic oversight for the end-to-end delivery of after-sales services for utility and industrial customers. You will lead a high-performing team of Project Managers responsible for the execution of transactional services, Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), system upgrades, and complex brownfield installation and commissioning (I&C) projects.

Your portfolio scope includes the full spectrum of HVDC, FACTS, ACIS and GIS technologies. As the primary leader for this segment, you hold Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability, ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest quality, safety, and financial standards. You are responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of accountability, and mentoring your team to deliver seamless, value-driven service that strengthens long-term customer relationships and business growth.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

GSI NAM service project management leader supervises and manages a team of project managers. In this role, he/she:

  • P&L Profit and lost Responsibility for the portfolio – Assume accountability for the financial performance of the service portfolio, revenue recognition, margin, cost forecast and cash management
  • Team Leadership: Directly mentor, coach, and evaluate a team of Project Managers. Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes ownership, technical rigor, and adherence to established project management best practices.
  • Process standardization – OTR Process owner. Implementation of the process. Regular pacing, project review, cost and forecast management
  • Customer Engagement - Serve as the primary point of escalation and strategic partner for the client. Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Cross function coordination - Cross-Functional collaboration between Field Services, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
  • Sales and operational planning. Resource loading and planning. Ensure accurate resource loading and capacity planning to meet project demands
  • Liaison with Warranty Leader to manage warranty and all after sales services. High degree of focus on RAM (Reliability Availability Maintainability) of major energy corridor projects
  • Personally lead selected high-complexity or high-stakes strategic projects, serving as the hands-on Project Manager to ensure successful delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of organizational strategy and policy, ensuring all delivery models align with broader business objectives.
  • Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices. Maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices in project management and planning

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record in complex project management and organizational leadership
  • University specialized in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Field
  • Minimum of 10 years in project management, with at least 5 years of demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Language proficiency - Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory); fluency in French is highly desirable
  • Previous exposure to Transmission and Distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy power plants

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
