Title-Project Manager with Monday.com
Location: Remote (EST or CST time zone)
Job Type: 9 Month Contract with extensions

The Company has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager. Ideal candidates must have 7+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives and demonstrated experience taking over active or in-flight projects and driving them to completion. Must also have experience delivering SaaS or cloud based platforms, preferably work management or collaboration solutions. Experience working with or implementing Monday.com or similar tools is also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume end to end ownership of an active, enterprise level Monday.com implementation
  • Manage execution, coordination, and stakeholder communication for the Monday.com Project, ensuring continuity, stability, and momentum during a rapid handoff from the current Project Manager
  • Immediately assume ownership of an in flight Monday.com implementation, including existing scope, commitments, risks, dependencies, and timelines
  • Develop, refine, and uphold team responsibilities, delivery expectations, and operating rhythms across the project lifecycle
  • Own and protect approved project scope, ensuring change is clearly documented, assessed, and governed
  • Develop and maintain terms for project initiation, including alignment to the project charter
  • Manage overall project execution from planning through implementation, deployment, and stabilization
  • Facilitate progress across all project initiatives, including requirements gathering, design coordination, configuration, testing, and delivery of agreed upon outcomes
  • Maintain and govern project management tools, artifacts, and documentation to ensure transparency and continuity
  • Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables, proactively identifying threats to timeline or scope
  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Business Champions to ensure requirements are delivered as approved
  • Accountable for creating, reviewing, and distributing clear, accurate project progress reports to sponsors and stakeholders
  • Provide regular status updates, executive summaries, and risk assessments to project leadership and sponsors
  • Apply appropriate judgment in determining when and how to escalate risks, blockers, or decisions to senior leadership
  • Serve as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT product leadership, technical resources, regional representatives, and vendors
  • Facilitate project working sessions, planning discussions, and delivery checkpoints to maintain alignment across regions and functions
  • Support knowledge transfer, documentation handoff, and stabilization activities to ensure long term sustainability post implementation
Certifications:
  • PMP, PMI ACP, or similar project management certification - Preferred
Required Skills:
  • Project management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives - 7-10 years
  • Hands on experience delivering SaaS or cloud based platforms, preferably work management or collaboration solutions
  • High level of experience with Monday.com (implementation experience highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience taking over active or in flight projects and driving them through completion
  • Demonstrated success coordinating global, cross functional teams operating across regions and time zones
  • Strong mastery of core project management fundamentals, including scope control, schedule management, risk mitigation, dependency tracking, and reporting
  • Proven ability to manage project management tools, plans, and artifacts with discipline and consistency
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including facilitation of governance discussions and executive updates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non technical stakeholders
