Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, RCM, this role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational billing functions that keep our revenue cycle running efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for a billing professional looking to grow within a structured, supportive team environment.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1>Key Responsibilities</h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Process and submit clean claims to insurance payers in a timely and accurate manner</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Perform payment posting, including ERA/EOB reconciliation and patient balance allocation</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation within the practice management system</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ingest nursing and pharmacy invoices and follow up with vendors</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Accurately document and maintain treatment details, procedure codes, and patient encounter information within designated billing spreadsheets and tracking logs</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with the clinical team to obtain missing or incomplete information required for claim submission, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution before submission deadlines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proactively share observations, trends, and feedback with the Sr. Manager, RCM, to support continuous improvement of billing workflows, denial patterns, and overall revenue cycle efficiency</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><h1>Qualifications</h1><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">2+ years of experience in medical billing, claims processing, or revenue cycle management</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, including J-code, Q-code, and C-code billing</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with payer portals (e.g., Waystar, Availity)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with ERA/EOB processing and payment posting</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume workloads</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Effective written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">EHR system experience(e.g., AlayaCare, Epic, Athena)</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with denial management and insurance appeals</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business, or related field</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and CMS billing regulations</p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p><p style="min-height:1.5em">At Leap, we’re building an outlier company with real impact — and that takes focus, energy, and commitment.
