Now, we're looking for a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and compassionate team!

Position Summary
As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting our doctors and delivering high-quality medical care. Whether you're assisting in surgery, performing technical skills, or educating pet parents, you'll be an essential part of our hospital’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
  • Perform and support anesthesia monitoring and surgical procedures
  • Prepare patients and surgical areas for procedures
  • Collect and process lab samples (fecal, urine, cytology)
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and surgical instruments
  • Provide clear communication and compassionate care to clients and patients

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license required
  • Prior clinical experience preferred
  • Strong technical, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Registered Veterinary Technician Responsibilties: - Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms - Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals - Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members - Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring - Proficient in dental prophylaxis Registered Veterinary Technician Qualifications: - Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state. (SVP will pay for a transfer / additional state licensing for DC if applicable). - Associates degree in Veterinary Technology - Pay range of $28-$35+/hour - $2000 Sign-On Bonus
