What You'll Do Key Responsibilities As an Air Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline of our guest travel support operations. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities designed to ensure smooth air travel arrangements for our guests. Here's what you can expect Guest Communication and Support Answer incoming phone calls and chat messages regarding air travel issues with professionalism and empathy Respond promptly to emails and voicemails, ensuring all guest inquiries are addressed accurately and timely Relay messages between guests, travel agents, airlines, and internal departments to facilitate seamless communication Provide exceptional support to guests and travel agents with enroute issues, offering solutions that exceed expectations Handle escalated calls with composure, resolving complex issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction Ticketing and Reservation Management Perform comprehensive ticketing activities including issuance, refunds, and exchanges Amend major schedule changes efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to guest travel plans Track and fix incomplete Passenger Name Records (PNR) caused by missing TSA data or airfare information Realign pricing within PNRs to ensure records are re-priced correctly, collecting additional funds when necessary outside of final payment Certify all air tickets issued for passengers by updating the ticket match exception report accurately Assign ancillary services to guests upon request, enhancing their travel experience Specialized Travel Operations Process guest entertainment, crew executive travel, and VIP requests with attention to detail Provide downline communication to port agents, hotels, and ground transportation providers Research air schedules booked for crew members outside of budget parameters Process last-minute crew changes related to air accommodations with urgency and accuracy Provide next port protection coverage, including flight re-accommodation services to accommodate passengers when unexpected changes occur Manage shipboard email inboxes, ensuring all correspondence is handled professionally Quality and Collaboration Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management to reduce communication-related work errors Consistently deliver on commitments to external and internal customers, driving overall customer satisfaction Demonstrate commitment through behaviors and performance aligned with our core values Exhibit integrity, fairness, and professionalism in every interaction Support and uphold our Culture Essentials, contributing to a positive work environment Perform any additional duties as assigned by leadership within the scope of this position What We're Looking For Qualifications and Requirements Essential Qualifications Experience Previous experience in the travel and hospitality industry is highly desirable. A background in a high-volume call center environment will serve you well in this role. Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You'll need to navigate these tools confidently to manage reservations, communicate with guests, and track important information. Communication Skills Excellent phone and customer service skills are essential. You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with travel suppliers, port agents, crew members, employees, other departments, and management. System Knowledge Comprehensive knowledge of the Sabre airline reservation system is required, including Creation of air bookings Ticketing procedures Exchange processes Pricing operations Routing configurations Queue processing techniques Authorization Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. arenaflex is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time.
