[Remote] Business Operations Mgr, Vehicles

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. eBay is a global ecommerce leader that is transforming the way the world shops and sells. They are looking for a Business Operations Manager to join their Vehicles C2C team, responsible for leading initiatives that grow eBay’s US Vehicles business and enhance the end-to-end checkout experience for buyers and sellers. The role involves strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and performance analysis to drive business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Own and drive cross-functional initiatives that support critical business objectives, partnering with product, marketing, customer service, and other teams to deliver against key milestones
  • Operate independently to scope problems, define approaches, align stakeholders, and drive decisions - often without a detailed playbook
  • Establish key performance metrics and build mechanisms for tracking and evaluating initiative success
  • Build and deliver executive-ready presentations on strategy, operational performance, and initiative outcomes
  • Lead ongoing business cadences, including performance reviews, initiative deep dives, and progress reporting
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across the US Vehicles landscape that require strategic problem-solving or process improvement
  • Establish operational processes and guardrails to support scalable growth in C2C activation, including pilot launches and product-market fit enhancements
  • Conduct analysis of automotive market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to inform decision-making and drive action

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in business operations, consulting, program management, or a similar role where you owned outcomes and drove initiatives forward. Additional experience may be a substitute for education
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives with limited direction and deliver measurable business results
  • Strong business judgement and the ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans and recommendations
  • Analytical skills and comfort working with tools such as Excel and Tableau to build analyses that support decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem solver with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Bonus if you have a personal passion for eBay or the car industry, but it's not required
