[Remote] Director, Scientific Statistical and Data Coordinating Center

The Scientific Director, Statistical and Data Coordinating Center (SDCC), will lead large complex multi-center and multi-protocol clinical trial programs and build relationships with government sponsors to ensure long-term program success. Responsibilities Oversight and innovation for all aspects of the SDCC research program to ensure successful project implementation, data management, analysis, and dissemination of results Key responsibilities of the Scientific Director on the research program includes development of study protocols, statistical expertise in the areas of design and analysis, and lead the development of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals Establishes and maintain relationships with external government sponsor representatives and internal executives Supports corporate initiatives including business development activities to expand government business Skills Minimum of a Master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health or another field relevant to clinical research and at least 8 years of clinical research experience Demonstrated success overseeing a portfolio of clinical research in the specific therapeutic area with a typical tenure of at least 5 years research portfolio management experience Deep experience leading clinical research projects with experience in or working knowledge of unique challenges and considerations of disease research Working knowledge of the principles of clinical research management Demonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills, combined with business judgment Effective communication skills, including strong presentation, writing, and listening skills Ability to facilitate discussion with leadership and stakeholders Excellent customer service and relationship management skills Strong analytical skills Therapeutic experience in vaccine and infectious disease required PhD Preferred Benefits Flexible Approved Time Off Tuition Reimbursement 401k Retirement Plan Work From Home Anywhere in the US Maternal/Paternal Leave Casual Dress Code & Work Environment Company Overview The Emmes Group is where human intelligence meets artificial intelligence.
