<p>Description</p> <p>This role can be performed either remotely or in a hybrid setup.</p> <p>Location: Remote Tech II<br /> Department: Neurodiagnostics<br /> Employment Type: Full-time (0.8–1.0 FTE), 32–80 hours per two-week pay period<br /> Shift: Flexible<br /> Pay: $27.61–$41.41 per hour, based on relevant experience </p> <p>Summary:<br /> The Remote EEG Technologist is responsible for real-time monitoring of both continuous and intermittent EEG recordings, identifying abnormalities, notifying supervising neurologists and other care providers of findings, and editing studies as needed. The ideal candidate is a dependable, motivated, and experienced neurodiagnostics professional who can work independently and provide accurate monitoring.</p> <p>Responsibilities:<br /> – Demonstrate knowledge of normal and abnormal adult EEG patterns<br /> – Distinguish artifacts from true cortical activity<br /> – Accurately monitor, identify, and edit EEG abnormalities<br /> – Maintain daily cEEG logs and document according to industry standards and company policies<br /> – Operate EEG equipment effectively and troubleshoot when needed<br /> – Use basic computer systems and perform data entry<br /> – Understand medical terminology, ACNS EEG terminology, and common abbreviations in neurodiagnostics<br /> – Communicate professionally with hospital staff, neurologists, and fellow remote technologists </p> <p>Requirements:<br /> – Associate degree or completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technologist program, or a high school diploma/GED with one registry<br /> – Registered EEG Technician (REEGT) certification from ABRET<br /> – At least 1 year of EEG experience<br /> – BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (CPR for the Professional Rescuer) required before start date and valid for at least 60 days after hire </p> <p>About UCHealth:<br /> UCHealth is dedicated to improving lives through innovation, care, and human connection.</p> <p>Employee Benefits:<br /> UCHealth offers a three-year incentive bonus recognizing contributions to quality, patient experience, growth, financial goals, and tenure.
