[Remote] Inside Sales Representative (P&C Insurance)

They are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive growth by supporting independent agency distribution channels, building partnerships with agents, and managing sales activities to increase quote volume and product adoption. Responsibilities Serve as a primary inside sales contact for assigned independent insurance agencies Execute outbound activity (calls, emails, virtual meetings) to promote carrier products, appetite, and sales initiatives Drive new business submissions and bound premium through agent engagement and pipeline management Promote cross-sell opportunities, multi-policy accounts, and new product launches Support agents with quote generation, underwriting guidance, and pre-bind review (within authority) Partner with field territory managers to execute agency growth strategies and sales campaigns Track agency performance, opportunity pipelines, and activity in HubSpot Provide education on coverage, underwriting appetite, eligibility, pricing structure, and competitive position Identify underperforming agencies and implement targeted engagement plans to increase production Support onboarding and ramp-up newly appointed agencies Ensure all sales activities follow carrier underwriting guidelines, compliance requirements, and state regulations Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews Skills Minimum 2-4 years of P&C insurance experience in underwriting, inside sales, agency sales, or account management Strong knowledge of independent agency distribution models Proven ability to influence production without direct consumer selling Strong pipeline management, follow-up discipline, and organizational skills Effective communication and relationship-building abilities High proficiency in CRM, agency portals, and rating systems Ability to manage multiple agencies and priorities in a fast-paced environment Producer license or ability to get licensed required Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required Designated quiet work from home space Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack) Other insurance-related programs such as HubSpot, IMS or similar Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Short- and Long-Term Disability (Company Paid) Voluntary Long-Term Disability Employee Life & AD&D (Company Paid) Voluntary Employee, Spouse, and Child Life & AD&D Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit FSA, and Healthcare Savings Account (HSA) 401K with a generous matching contribution and no vesting schedule 20 days of PTO annually (prorated based on hire date) Company Paid Holidays and 2 “Choose Your Own Holidays” Company Overview A simpler way to do home insurance.
