RETAIL EXECUTIVE
JOB SUMMARY:
To support Retail Assistant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of retail lots and ensuring smooth retail activities within the terminal.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular inspections of retail outlets within the terminal and maintain strong professional relationships with tenants.
- Identify, report and escalate operational issues or concerns to the Retail Assistant Manager when necessary.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to ensure terminal retail areas are maintained in excellent condition at all time.
- Assist in monitoring the setup and daily operations of retail outlets to ensure compliance with tenancy agreements, company standards, and statutory requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with tenants to support smooth business operations.
- Provide clear and detailed information in response to tenants' enquiries and requests.
- Handle complaints and resolve issues raised by tenants or customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and control the use of common areas, including corridors in front of retail outlets, to ensure compliance with terminal regulations.
- Coordinate and manage tenants' delivery schedules, including the movement of goods from the loading bay to their respective outlets.
- Prepare and issue relevant correspondence, emails, letters, and reports to tenants as required.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or any related field.
- One (1) to two (2) years of working experience in retail operations, tenancy management, shopping mall operations, customer service, airport retail environment, or any related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, customers, and internal departments.
- Ability to handle complaints, operational issues, and tenant enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to make appropriate decisions when handling operational matters.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of tenancy operations, retail compliance, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements would be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in airport, shopping mall, commercial building, or retail management operations will have an added advantage.
