And our work depends on a Salesforce Automation and Performance Tester joining our Federal Services System Support and Oversight (FSSSO) program to remotely support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) activities.</p><p></p><p>At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Salesforce Automation and Performance Tester supporting CMS, you will be trusted to work with other Salesforce Testers of various skill levels to deliver high-quality Agile Salesforce solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:</p><ul><li><p>Developing a strategy to implement Salesforce Test Automation suites across 3+ scrum teams</p></li><li><p>Developing and maintaining end-to-end automation testing frameworks and automation suites.</p></li><li><p>Building, executing and maintaining automated tests, designing code and deploying automated test scripts, using Jenkins and Selenium Grid remote platforms.</p></li><li><p>Performing Performance Testing, which may include:</p><ul><li><p>Designing performance test scenarios to simulate the desired workload profile</p></li><li><p>Executing performance tests</p></li><li><p>Viewing and understanding real-time data and graphs displayed in Performance Center while tests are being executed.</p></li><li><p>Interpreting performance test data to determine system health under load.</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Experience understanding and interpreting customer business requirements, writing functional test cases and performing software quality tests.</p></li><li><p>Designing and developing test and testing requirements for products, systems, software, and/or related technology using independent judgement.</p></li><li><p>Partnering with applicable technology teams to determine testing parameters.</p></li><li><p>Conducting quality assurance and design performance tests using established testing procedures.</p></li><li><p>Providing troubleshooting for moderately complex testing errors and streamline testing procedures.</p></li><li><p>Ensuring testing methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards.</p></li><li><p>Preparing reports and advanced analysis for testing.</p></li><li><p>Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology and best practices relevant to the industry.</p></li><li><p>Participating in Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, grooming, estimation) to support innovation and enhancement of applications through <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">iteration/functionality</span> testing.</p></li><li><p>Participating and collaborating with team members to assess Story Point/complexity efforts (using best practices) to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria.</p></li><li><p>Collaborating with team members (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Developers) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets.</p></li><li><p>Developing and documenting end-to-end functionality test case narratives using task management system.</p></li><li><p>Providing early exploratory testing during the development phase.</p></li><li><p>Conducting peer reviews of test cases and test documents.</p></li><li><p>Mentoring less experienced team members and writing manual test plans and create test cases for product(s) as needed.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You’ll Need to Succeed</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree or higher</p></li><li><p>Possess Valid <b>Salesforce Certified Administrator certification</b> and/or <b>Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification</b> – <i>Salesforce certification will be verified on Trailhead</i></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>3+ years of relevant IT system testing experience.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications with any clouds, like Sales, Service and/or Experience Clouds.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience<b> developing automation test scripts from scratch</b> and <b>performing other test automation activities</b>.</p></li><li><p>Experience designing<b> performance test </b>scenarios to simulate the desired workload profile and then executing performance tests.</p></li><li><p>Experience working and understanding large, complex Salesforce projects, with proficiency in navigating Salesforce and comprehensive understanding of Salesforce terminology.</p></li><li><p>Experience executing Test Plans, Regression Test Suites including UI, back end, Salesforce components & Integrations using Web and API automation.</p></li><li><p>Experience using Selenium Webdriver, Cucumber, or an equivalent, and with RESTful services, integrating them with Jenkins/GitHub.</p></li><li><p>Ability to view and understand real-time data and graphs displayed in Performance Center while tests are being executed to determine system health under load.</p></li><li><p>Expertise in QA Test management, Functional and Non-Functional testing, and a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices.</p></li><li><p>Experience understanding and interpreting customer business requirements, writing functional test cases and performing software quality tests.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a team environment supporting and resolving IT related issues.</p></li><li><p>Expert experience developing testing documentation, such as Test Summary Reports and requirements traceability reports.</p></li><li><p>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.</p></li><li><p>Ability to prioritize effectively.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment</p></li><li><p>Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to various stakeholders, management levels, and non-technical audiences.</p></li><li><p>Expert experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.</p></li><li><p>Candidate must be willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance.</p></li><li><p>Candidate must have lived in the United States <b>at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.</b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience working and/or interfacing with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with data exchange tools and technologies including APIs.</p></li><li><p>Ability to resolve issues with little oversight;
