About the Role:The SAP EAM / PM Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Enterprise Asset Management and Plant Maintenance solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in maintenance processes, asset lifecycle management, Oil &

  • Gas operations, and SAP integrations within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:1) SAP EAM / PM Implementation &

  • Configuration

  • Design, configure, and support SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance solutions.
  • Configure key PM components including Equipment, Functional Locations, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, and Maintenance Strategies.
  • Support preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance processes.
  • Configure and support Work Orders, Notifications, and Confirmations.
  • Manage Serial Number Management, Warranty Management, and Refurbishment cycles.

2) IS-Oil &

  • Gas Asset Management

  • Support Oil &
    • Gas–specific asset management scenarios across refineries, pipelines, terminals, offshore platforms, and production facilities.

  • Manage maintenance processes for high-value and safety-critical equipment.
  • Support Shutdown, Turnaround, and Outage (STO) maintenance activities.
  • Align maintenance processes with upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
  • 3) Integration with SAP Landscape

    • Integrate SAP PM with SAP MM for spare parts, inventory, and procurement processes.
    • Support integration with SAP FICO for maintenance cost tracking and asset capitalization.
    • Integrate with SAP PS for project-based maintenance and turnaround activities.
    • Support integration with SAP IS-Oil modules where applicable.
    • Ensure data consistency and accurate cost settlement processes.

    4) Reliability &

    • Performance Optimization

    • Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
    • Enable equipment history tracking and failure analysis processes.
    • Monitor and support KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, asset availability, and maintenance cost optimization.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for asset performance and maintenance efficiency.

    5) Onsite Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work closely with maintenance planners, engineers, operations teams, and plant managers.
    • Conduct requirement gathering workshops and solution design discussions.
    • Support UAT activities, end-user training, and change management initiatives.
    • Act as the primary onsite functional expert for SAP EAM / PM solutions.

    6) Support &

    • Governance

    • Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP PM modules.
    • Troubleshoot configuration, master data, and transactional issues.
    • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, SOPs, and KT materials.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and SAP best practices.

    Required Skills &

    • Experience:

    • Strong hands-on experience in SAP EAM / PM configuration and support.
    • Experience in Oil &
      • Gas asset management and maintenance operations.

  • Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
  • Experience integrating SAP PM with MM, FICO, PS, and IS-Oil modules.
  • Strong AMS L2/L3 support experience in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of maintenance KPIs, reliability engineering, and asset lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
