The incumbent will be responsible for taking an enterprise-wide, architectural view of the solutions and the technical execution of products using the technical stack that best meets the needs of the platform. The position, and team, will be involved in every aspect as part of the software application build process from idea generation, business analysis, technical design and software development using the latest technologies and design patterns. Candidates are required to have <b>5+ years</b> of proficiency in scalable system design, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, coupled with <b>5+ years</b> of experience in modern programming languages such as .NET, Angular, SQL, and other general-purpose languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. A strong understanding of web services (REST, HTTPS, JSON) and <b>5+ years</b> in defining system architectures are also essential. Preferred qualifications include <b>7+ years</b> in healthcare IT, with <b>5+ years</b> utilizing HTML5, CSS, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), MSSQL, and Windows Server. We also value <b>5+ years</b> in translating designs to applications, producing fault-tolerant code, and <b>1+ year</b> with Machine Learning, particularly in NLP or Deep Neural Networks.</p><p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Takes a lead role for analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing more complex application enhancements, as well as providing general  production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.</li><li>Utilizes and participates in the more complex full system development life cycle, per current Highmark SDLC standards.</li><li>Takes a lead role in collaborating with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
