<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Leon Financial, LLC is seeking a senior-level <strong>Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Credit Originator</strong> to join its growing real estate credit platform. This role is designed for a <strong>proven, fully formed credit originator</strong> with the ability to independently source, structure, and close institutional real estate credit transactions across multiple asset classes.</p><p><br></p><p>Leon Financial operates a diversified real estate credit platform, with active focus areas that include industrial, multifamily, healthcare, retail, and self-storage. The successful candidate will be a strong CRE credit generalist — someone with depth in certain asset classes and the judgment and flexibility to execute across others as capital allocation and deal flow evolve.</p><p><br></p><p>This is not a training or ramp-up role. The expectation is immediate contribution and consistent production.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Originate commercial real estate credit transactions across a diversified set of asset classes, including:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Industrial and logistics</li><li>Multifamily</li><li>Healthcare-related real estate</li><li>Retail</li><li>Self-storage</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Source opportunities through established relationships with:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Sponsors and operators</li><li>Developers and owners</li><li>Brokers and capital markets intermediaries</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Structure and execute a range of CRE credit solutions, including:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Senior secured loans</li><li>Mezzanine debt</li><li>Preferred equity</li><li>Transitional and structured credit investments</li><li>Recapitalizations and complex capital stacks</li><li>Own transactions end-to-end, from initial sourcing and structuring through underwriting, credit approval, and closing, in close partnership with internal investment, legal, and asset management teams.</li><li>Maintain a consistent pipeline of institutional-quality opportunities aligned with Leon Financial’s risk-adjusted return objectives.</li><li>Represent Leon Financial, LLC in the market with sponsors, intermediaries, and industry participants.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>10–20+ years of commercial real estate credit origination experience with a verifiable history of closed transactions.</li><li>Demonstrated track record as a high-performing CRE credit originator, not an emerging producer.</li><li>Experience originating credit across multiple CRE asset classes, with depth in one or more of Leon Financial’s core focus areas.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Background originating credit at one or more of the following:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Private real estate credit funds</li><li>Real estate debt platforms</li><li>Institutional or specialty CRE lenders</li><li>Strong credit judgment and comfort with underwriting transactions across different property types and market cycles.</li><li>Proven ability to operate autonomously with high accountability and minimal oversight.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What This Role Is Not:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Not a training or development program</li><li>Not a junior or mid-career origination role</li><li>Not a development or brokerage position</li><li>Not suitable for candidates still building an origination book</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Leon Financial, LLC:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Leon Financial, LLC is a diversified real estate credit platform operating across multiple commercial real estate strategies.
