You will design and deliver medical strategies, evidence generation and scientific engagement across the product lifecycle. As the lead of a cross-functional global medical team, you will work closely with R&D, commercial, regional medical teams and external partners to translate scientific insight into practical impact for patients. Travel will be required to attend scientific meetings, meet external partners and colleagues.</p><p></p><p>Essential qualifications & experience</p><ul><li><p><span>Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or related field (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in oncology medical affairs, clinical development or related roles within pharma/biotech.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven experience designing and delivering global medical and evidence generation strategies </span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong track record of scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and academic partners.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed and global teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in mentoring or leading small teams and developing talent.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent English communication skills with the ability to make complex science clear.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Preferred Qualification<br>If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:<br>- Deep disease knowledge in lung cancer.</p><p>- Experience in late-stage clinical development, phase IIIb/IV studies or real-world evidence programmes.<br>- Experience managing global congress strategy and scientific communications.<br>- Experience negotiating and managing external partnerships, budgets and vendors.</p><p>- Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance considerations across key markets.<br><br>Ready to apply?<br>If this role feels like the next step for you, we want to hear from you. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
