We are seeking an experienced Level 3 / Level 4 MongoDB Database Administrator (DBA) to provide ad hoc operational support for enterprise MongoDB environments. The successful candidate will support both self-managed and MongoDB Atlas environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational stability. This role requires deep expertise in production database administration, troubleshooting, backup and recovery strategies, replication, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
MongoDB Administration
Administer and support production MongoDB environments, including self-managed and MongoDB Atlas deployments.
Monitor cluster health, availability, and overall database performance.
Perform database provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Review and implement MongoDB production best practices and operational guidance.
Performance & Reliability
Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks.
Analyze slow queries and optimize indexes, collections, and database configurations.
