Senior Risk Manager

The Senior Risks Manager - Risks & Controls (Support Function) role is part of a global Risks & Controls team that works across 1LoD business units to provide management with an informed and independent opinion on the effectiveness of controls used to mitigate material risks.

The position focuses on executing the Enterprise Operations Risk Management (EORM) Framework for specific programs, assessing the Operational Risk Profile, and challenging the business on risk understanding and control adequacy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead operational risk & controls governance.
  • Review risk events and perform root cause analysis.
  • Conduct RCSA, control testing, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor KRIs, risk reporting, and mitigation plans.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on risk & control matters.
  • Support audits, remediation, and governance reviews.
  • Drive risk analytics and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with regional and global risk teams.
Your Skills
  • 8–10 years in financial services or operational risk.
  • Strong operational risk & controls experience.
  • Experience with RCSA, KRIs, control testing, and risk reporting.
  • Background in banking, custody, fund services, or operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and audit remediation.
  • Ability to work independently in complex environments.
