Social Media Manager — AI Content, Remote Job

Are you already creating AI-generated videos? Do you know your way around tools like Higgsfield, HeyGen, or ElevenLabs and do you have a feel for what makes AI content actually perform on social?

Vocal Media is looking for Social Media Managers to manage and grow AI-themed accounts across TikTok and Instagram Reels on a contract basis. This role is built for creators who are already living in this space. You will be producing AI-driven video content at volume, managing accounts with a distinct voice, and staying ahead of the curve as the GenAI content landscape evolves fast.

Responsibilities

Content Production

  • Create and publish AI-generated video content across TikTok and Instagram Reels, primarily short-form vertical video.

  • Use GenAI tools including Higgsfield, HeyGen, Seedance, ElevenLabs, and CapCut to produce and edit content from ideation through publishing.

  • Manage 7-10 posts weekly.

  • Write platform-optimized captions that match each account's voice across topics like news, politics, and culture.

Account Management

  • Own day-to-day publishing for assigned AI-themed accounts with consistent cadence, quality, and platform relevance.

  • Monitor performance metrics and iterate on content formats, prompts, and posting strategies to improve engagement and growth.

  • Stay on top of AI trends, new tools, and algorithm shifts to keep content timely and competitive.

Collaboration

  • Participate in one 45-minute weekly check-in with content leadership.

  • Collaborate with fellow Social Media Managers and contribute to strategy discussions.

What We Are Looking For

  • You are already making AI content, specifically video, and you have work to show for it.

  • Hands-on experience with GenAI video tools, particularly Higgsfield, HeyGen, Seedance, ElevenLabs, and CapCut.

  • Strong instinct for what performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels, especially in the AI, tech, and culture space.

  • Understanding of progressive issues and how AI intersects with politics, social justice, and culture.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently in a remote, async environment.

  • Early-career candidates welcome; a portfolio or links to content you have created is strongly encouraged.

$1,000 - $1,000 a month
