You will play a crucial role in modernizing and sustaining the Global Transportation Planning system.</p><ul><li><p>Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software</p></li><li><p>Assist with all phases of the software development lifecycle</p></li><li><p>Assist with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsAssists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application</p></li><li><p>Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging</p></li><li><p>Assist with the documentation of software or system for future maintenance and updates</p></li></ul><p><br><br><u><b>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED</b></u><br>Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. GDIT typically provides new employees with 15 days of paid leave per calendar year to be used for vacations, personal business, and illness and an additional 10 paid holidays per year. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
