Specialist, Inventory Logistics FULL-TIME Opportunity in Anchorage, AK<br><br></strong><ul><li>Starting Pay: $25.00 - $27.00/hour <br><br></li></ul>We’re hiring an <strong>Inventory Control Coordinator</strong> responsible for performing an array of inventory, logistics, and support functions that include evaluating and managing inventory and inventory needs across all GMR Air Business units. Oversee inventory cycle counts and perform inventory and process audits. This position will also contribute to the development of new and existing processes and procedures.<br><br>The Aviation Inventory Control Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Logistics Manager and will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy in all inventory warehouses, and inventory locations, ensuring all incoming aviation parts are brought into the system to meet company guidelines, and maintained in serviceable stock that meets the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and industry requirements. This role works closely with:<br><br><ul><li>Purchasing Department: Receiving and cost discrepancy</li><li>Accounting Support Department: Ensuring all incoming inventory is received in an accurate and timely manner.</li><li>Safety and Quality Departments: Ensuring safe warehouse operations and FAA compliance.</li><li>Maintenance Managers and Aircraft Mechanics: Ensuring on-time delivery of parts and communicating delays.</li><li>Other GMR Air Business Units Supervisors and Managers to coordinate and maximize efficiencies of the department.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong>Receiving<br><br></strong><ul><li>Receiving all incoming parts, verifying invoices/packing sheets / physical quantities.</li><li>Inspect all aviation parts for serviceability and traceability to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and industry requirements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Shipping<br><br></strong><ul><li>Facilitate shipping support for all outgoing materials by verifying products are within expiration dates and in serviceable condition before shipping.</li><li>Packaging products to ensure the integrity of the product and guard against damage or loss of product.</li><li>Ensuring shipping methods comply with maintenance delivery times and hazardous materials regulation guidelines are met before arranging appropriate shipping of products.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Inventory Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain inventory stock levels.</li><li>Maintaining a high level of attention to cleanliness and 6s standards in inventory storage locations.</li><li>Returning parts/cores, as necessary.</li><li>Performs periodic physical inventory counts and audits to ensure appropriate quantities of items are stocked in the correct locations.</li><li>Resolve inventory discrepancies between systems and physical counts, including stock checks, cycle counts, research, and correcting displaced, mislabeled, and missing products.</li><li>Organize stock on shelves per system-specified zone and bin locations using FIFO rules, identifying obsolete and expired products, and ensuring the warehouse is well maintained and staging areas are clearly defined.</li><li>Process all material requisition by accurately picking and processing orders for any issued document and proactively escalate supply issues directly resulting in work stoppages and grounded Aircraft.</li><li>Provide after-hours / weekend support for AOGs (rotational on-call schedule).</li><li>Resolve accounting, receiving, and quality issues to ensure timely acceptance and payment for material.</li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Two (2) years of experience with supply chain concepts</li><li>Advanced computer skills, preferably experience using a computer-based inventory tracking system.</li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Valid State issued Driver's license </li><li>Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Aviation industry experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>Why Choose Guardian Flight?</strong> As a leading provider of air medical services, management and experience in the air medical industry, Guardian Flight is one of Global Medical Response’s (GMR) family of solutions.
