Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to lead our Commercial Sales and Marketing Business Operations team.  This position is located in Seattle, WA.

In this high visibility role, you will serve as the primary business support interface with Executive Leadership, driving business execution and capability enhancement through efficient and agile operations.

As the Senior Manager for the Business Operations team, you will leverage knowledge and expertise to transform the operating model through systems, tools and processes.  Building and nurturing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, peers and your team will be essential to success.   You will also partner with key stakeholders to manage and support special projects targeted at enhancing operational efficiency  

Position Responsibilities:

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support the Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Commercial Sales and Marketing leaders to drive organizational efficiency and operational excellence

  • Integrate with Sales and Finance to track ongoing commitments to airplane sales campaigns

  • Guide and facilitate the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies, processes, and metrics to track progress to and enable attainment of business goals

  • Drive new ways of working that motivate and engage a mobile, technologically fluent, globally distributed workforce

  • Lead team to ensure a focus and finish mentality for key projects/initiatives

  • Collect, organize, and visualize data into insights, with the use of digital tools within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and stakeholder commitments

  • Provide coaching, guidance and development opportunities to team members

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with business operations and/or business process improvements

  • Experience collaborating with finance, strategy, sales, marketing and/or operations

  • Experience interfacing with and briefing executive leadership

  • 3+ years of experience using critical business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape process and/or strategy

  • 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals

  • 3+ years of experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools

  • 3+ years of experience building a team and developing employees

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Ability to lead through change while demonstrating positive mindset

  • Functional expertise and the ability to manage diverse and complex topics

  • Experience using Program Management Best Practices: Configuration Control Board (CCB), Risk, Issue, Opportunity (RIO), Performance Management, Requirements Management, Integrated master scheduling

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $156,400 – $211,600
