Summer Toddler/ Preschool Teacher

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Full-Time Summer Toddler & Preschool Lead Teachers to join our school community.

Contract Period: June 1, 2026 – August 15, 2026.

Key responsibilities:

· Passionate about working with children

· Create an age-appropriate environment to support each kids’ growth based on their development level.

· Participate in physical care of infant/toddler; oversee and participate in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, and snacks; change diapers and toilet children as required.

· Actively engage with children to support their social emotional development, to promote positive social skills and self – esteem.

· Manage classroom through positive redirection.

· Communicate with children at their developmental level.

· Work with your co- teacher to plan and implement creative activities to encourage kids to explore, to foster their curiosity.

· Use a variety of methods (songs, art, outdoor activities) to support whole child development.

· Follow routines that have been established to ensure smooth transitions.

· Conduct parent conferences and prepare written assessments of the developmental progress

· Assist in documentation of student work, such as portfolios, and wall displays.

· Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information and share relevant information from parents with the team.

Our ideal candidate has the following:

· US Work authorization (Required)

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units, including 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development (required)

· 2 year + year Infant/Toddler Education Experience (preferred)

· Must be able to support both infant and toddler classrooms

· Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

· A positive working attitude, enthusiasm for education, flexibility

· Strong verbal and written communication skill in English and Spanish

· CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

· Submission of TB clearance and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
