This role will provide administrative and operational support to ensure an efficient hiring process and positive candidate experience.</span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Assist the Talent Acquisition department with the recruitment and hiring of quality candidates </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Perform onboarding of new hires within designated application(s), as needed. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Send and follow up on onboarding paperwork and ensure completion of all onboarding steps. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Run and monitor background checks and drug screens, including handling applicable follow-up documentation and communications. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Communicate first-day details and respond to onboarding-related questions from new hires. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Troubleshoot onboarding, equipment, and system access issues as needed. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Assist with candidate phone screens, sourcing activities, and interview scheduling coordination with hiring managers and agency partners. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Check internal candidate eligibility and assist with internal transfer and separation processes. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Conduct new hire follow-up check-ins and maintain candidate disposition updates. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Support reporting and other Talent Acquisition administrative functions. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Participate in departmental, divisional, and corporate initiatives as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager or others. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Perform other duties as assigned.</span></li> </ul><p></p> <p></p><p><b><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">What We’re Looking For:</span></b></p> <p><b><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Education</span></b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Associate’s Degree required. </span></li> </ul> <p><b><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Experience</span></b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or onboarding support preferred. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Experience in the transportation industry a plus. </span></li> </ul> <p><b><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Skills/Certifications</span></b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and vendors. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Basic computer skills required; experience with Microsoft Office, Internet, and applicable company-specific applications preferred. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Ability to learn and effectively use multiple transactional business applications. </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif">Excellent organizational, administrative, and workflow management skills</span></li> </ul><p></p> <p><em><strong>Work Environment / Physical Requirements – Normal office settings.</strong></em></p> <p>This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected for this position.
