Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to serve as a department trainer, mentor, and leader in the Real Estate Division
Provide support for complex issues by applying knowledge of business practices, procedures, technology, and tax law
Assist managers with special data reviews and operational needs
Develop and deliver training on revaluation, new construction workflows, data entry standards, deed processing, and appraisal procedures
Cross-train staff on key real estate functions and system processes
Support teams in using real estate appraisal and listing systems and technology tools
Help ensure consistency and accuracy in real estate data, workflows, and documentation

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Two years of experience in property tax, public finance, or similar setting.
Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field
Four or more years of experience working with ad valorem property taxes in North Carolina, including internal and external customer service and assisting with special projects

Hiring Range: $26.16 - $31.99

Market Range: 26.16 - 37.81
