Teacher's Aide

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher's Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting educators in creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students
  • Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Support students with special needs or learning challenges
  • Assist in classroom management and behavior guidance
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement educational strategies
  • Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Skills & Requirements
  • Experience in toddler care or early childhood education
  • Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development
  • Familiarity with Montessori or daycare settings
  • Ability to work with students with autism or special education needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, parents, and staff
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques
  • Minimum of 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development preferred/required in accordance with California childcare licensing guidelines
