Team Lead Surety Senior Account Manager

This is a fully remote role.</p><p></p><p>The Senior Account Manager is a highly experienced surety professional who independently handles various bond requests for new and established clients. This role demands a high degree of discretionary judgment, particularly in advanced tasks such as carrier negotiations and sophisticated customer requests. The Senior Account Manager serves as a pivotal coach and mentor for the team, guiding associate level teammates and fostering their professional development.</p><p></p><p><b>How You Will Contribute</b></p><ul><li>Adhere to Brown & Brown's compliance standards and procedures, including meticulous documentation, timely responses, processing timelines, professional conduct and client satisfaction. </li><li>Serve as a primary point of contact, promptly responding to customer and carrier inquiries via email and phone, providing expert guidance and solutions.</li><li>Independently manage a dedicated portfolio (size subject to volume and account type), demonstrating full ownership of client relationships, bond cycles, and complete submissions to underwriters.</li><li>Perform duties both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. </li><li>Process all requests promptly and efficiently, in areas of bonds, endorsements, audits, accounting/billing, and coordinate of claims/loss control services.</li><li>Gather and compile customer information to prepare new bond submissions for existing accounts with surety companies. </li><li>Oversee no less than two teammates, providing coaching and mentoring for the team</li><li>Maintain and update surety files to ensure ongoing underwriting compliance. </li><li>Review bonds for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Execute bonds under Power of Attorney and submit final bond documentation to surety companies. </li><li>Undertake other assigned duties and special projects. </li><li>Demonstrate a proactive approach in managing tasks and resolving issues.</li><li>Participate in training and development activities to maintain current skills and licensing. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills & Experience to Be Successful </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of Three (3) experience in a Surety Account Manager role and 5 years’ experience in the Surety field.</li><li>Must have and maintain a current Property & Casualty license</li><li>Solid knowledge and understanding of surety best practices, current legislation, rules, laws, and other regulations.</li><li>Proven Leadership experience with ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve objectives</li><li>Familiarity with contracts and their provisions.</li><li>Fluent with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel</li><li>AMS360, Erlon, or ImageRight experience is preferred or demonstrates ability to learn software program at an accelerated pace</li></ul><p></p><p><span>#LI-SN3</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Pay Range</b></p>$82,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annual<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><i><span>The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly </span><span>rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.</span></i></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Teammate Benefits & Total Well-Being</b></p><p style="text-align:left">We go beyond standard benefits, focusing on the total well-being of our teammates, including:</p><ul><li><i><u>Health Benefits</u></i>: Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability <span><span><span><span><span><span class="WKM1"><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Insurance  </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></li><li><i><u>Financial Benefits</u></i>: ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement </li><li><i><u>Mental Health & Wellness</u></i>: Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services</li><li><i><u>Beyond Benefits</u></i>: Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more. </li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><i>Not reflective of all benefits.
