POSITION SUMMARY:

The objective of the Technical Support Specialist is to provide superb customer experience through remote and on-site support to our clients. The IT Support Technician will interact daily with clients in order to fully understand client needs, requests and requirements. Our technicians strive to:

  • »Answer incoming calls and tickets from clients with technical problems
  • »Troubleshoot Windows 7, Windows 8, and business applications such as Office
  • »Document tickets and resolution within the ticketing system in accordance with company procedures
  • »Escalate issues as needed
  • »Reports to Lead System Engineer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • »High School Diploma or equivalent required, Some college preferred
  • »Experience in a Help Desk or PC support required
  • »Person must have excellent phone and customer service skills
  • »Must have 1 call, 1 resolution mindset
  • »Must have reliable transportation
  • »Strong team player
  • »Must have experience and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical client representatives
  • »Must have a valid drivers’ license and a reliable working vehicle
  • »Ability to take part in on-call rotation

PREFERENCE GIVEN FOR:

  • »Experience with a ticketing system a plus
  • »Experience working with Remote Management and Monitoring tools
