Territory Sales Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and increase the sales volume of assigned accounts or territories in accordance with stated company plan
  • Convert new dealers to our brand
  • Write incremental product orders and create strategic sales plans to drive growth
  • Conduct projects and programs to generate sales of CPSG product line and services to segments of respective channels and markets
  • Establish pricing library for new customers and manage library for ascending customers to grow and manage spend
  • Accountable for establishing and sustaining positive customer relations and brand recognition through training, product demonstrations, new product launches, selling events, and store openings; sell CPSG products to installing dealers and distributors in an assigned area by developing and maintaining strong relationships with all customers
  • Generate and follow-up on leads to fulfill the sales pipeline
  • In partnership with the branch managers, determine best approach to close sales
  • Provide prospects and small customers product information while gathering customer specific qualification data through site visits
  • Create and maintain target accounts by branch office while also maintaining regular contact
  • Produce monthly written report covering highlights, key wins and sales calls/presentation completed
  • Identify opportunities for sales expansion and growth opportunities through face to face business evaluation
  • Identify new dealer opportunities using individual initiative, tradeshows, company assigned lists and field based qualification activities to achieve sales goals
  • Develop an basic understanding of product and process knowledge across all dealer types
  • Maintain partner relationships to strengthen overall solution capabilities and drive greater value to the customer
  • Conduct basic training and product presentations to small groups
  • Maintain detailed customer information in CRM platform; track and record activity on accounts in the CRM
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
  • Managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CPSG’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years plus of Sales experience
  • Must have a proven record of commitment, ambition and drive toward establishing and achieving goals
  • Must also be able to work as part of a team and have demonstrated leadership ability
  • Excellent written communication skills; strong public speaking skills
  • Able to travel up to 60%-70% domestically
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish

The pay range for this position is $78,187.00 - $128,885.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
