Job Description:

A travel consultant plays a vital role in the travel industry that requires someone with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. It is the travel consultant's responsibility to provide valuable travel advice to clients and assist them in planning their trips. Whether it be booking flights, accommodations, or creating itineraries, a travel consultant ensures that the client's needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching and providing clients with options for flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities based on their preferences and budget.
  • Creating and booking travel packages for clients.
  • Providing advice on travel regulations and requirements for visas and passports.
  • Helping clients navigate through the booking process, including making reservations and issuing tickets.
  • Communicating with clients before, during, and after their trip to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Building relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Staying current on industry news and trends to provide the best advice and recommendations to clients.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
