Vice President Live Entertainment (LA Based)

THE ROLE:  Vice President Live Entertainment

As VP, Live Entertainment, you will be responsible for booking our 130+ world-class arenas, stadiums and theaters with premier content by leveraging your deep industry relationships to secure high-profile shows, tours, and events. You will act as an extension to our Venue Booking Managers, providing national oversight of best practices and industry touring trends, while being a constant support for all Legends Global venues.

LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (travel 1-2 times/month)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for the Legends Global portfolio, elevating the organization’s presence among industry agents, artist managers, and promoters.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with promoters, agents, and touring representatives, to drive live events across Legends Global managed venues.
  • Position Legends Global venues as premier live event destinations by conducting in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving touring patterns.
  • Lead deal negotiations with promoters and agents, ensuring favorable financial terms and strategic alignment for each venue.
  • Collaborate with Venue Booking Managers on venue availability to successfully execute bookings for diverse live entertainment events.
  • Analyze market trends, touring patterns, and competitive venues to position Legends Global venues as premier live entertainment destinations. 
  • Utilize data-driven insights to report on booking performance and inform the long-term programming strategy across the portfolio.
  • Represent Legends Global at industry conferences, live events, charity events, etc.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a required focus on talent buying, national touring, major promoters, and/or agency.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of entertainment trends and proven track record of booking and selling large-scale live entertainment events.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, strategic planning, contract negotiation, and budget management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is typically preferred.
  • Attributes: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often including evenings and weekends. 
  • Preferred Skills: 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Knowledge of software programs such as Salesforce, Infor, Momentus, Prism, and Power BI.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Self-starter

COMPENSATION

Competitive salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
