By conducting insightful interviews, the position ensures every hire aligns with our "Cardinal Way" culture and possesses the specific competencies needed to drive excellence within our communities.</span></p> <p><strong><span> </span></strong></p> <p><strong><span>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES </span></strong><em><span>(including but not limited to):</span></em></p> <ul> <li><em><span> </span></em><span>Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.</span></li> <li>Reviews and assesses applicants education, experience, training, and other qualifications.</li> <li>Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks. Schedules interviews and coordinates interviewers or panels.</li> <li>Tests and scores applicants and gathers feedback from other interviewers.</li> <li>Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities. Prepares and extends job offers.</li> <li>Notifies applicants of rejection.</li> <li>Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision.</li> <li>Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
