Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our customers, helping them to realize a smoother flying experience through TSA Precheck or initiating background checks and other services for various federal or state programs. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role, and during your 8-10 week onboarding period, you will also be cross-trained to support other areas of the store. Whether you are working with customers, verifying identities, or performing administrative tasks, your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers and provide a professional and welcoming experience, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded
  • Engage and present products and solutions that drive sales and meet our customers' needs, leveraging your knowledge of our services and products to make informed recommendations
  • Verify customer identity, scan required documents into our database system, take passport photos, and complete customer fingerprint images, biometric, and data capture processes and paperwork with accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting and retail equipment, ensuring that our systems are running smoothly and effectively
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, performing other duties as assigned in the store and contributing to a positive and productive team environment

Essential Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and experience:

  • Be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends, and be adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to operate a keyboard, photocopier, and other office equipment
  • Customer service-related experience, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding service and meeting customer needs
  • Ability to lift and move materials in the 10-50 pound range, with a focus on safety and efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer service techniques
