  • Plans and develops PLADS sales operations, ensuring maximum sales volume and margin; implements sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them, including expanding into new markets or segments
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners to drive retention and loyalty
  • Collaborate with marketing/product development to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and inform sales strategies
  • Stays abreast of current trends and best practices in target markets; develops and applies new strategies and methodologies as they emerge to increase the effectiveness of new solutions
  • Assesses short and long-term market potential by understanding Aflac portfolio products to the nations' leading employers; manage overall relationship with key brokers while directing internal account support
  • Guarantees that Aflac products are aggressively and competitively positioned through the PLADS distribution channel; develops selling models to optimize sales results
  • Reviews and interprets performance against operating plans and standards; provides information and reports on interpretation of results and approves changes; provide leadership to assigned sales professionals and their teams and drives for continuous improvement
  • Develops sales reports and presentations for senior management, detailing performance metrics, forecasts, and insights
  • Maintains budget for areas within scope of responsibility and ensures that operations are managed within authorized budgets; advises, develops, reviews, and approves budgets, plans, and business goals
  • Performs other duties as needed

  • Strong technical understanding of product development and underwriting discipline; a strong aptitude for conceptualizing, communicating and selling new concepts while also being able to take an analytic approach to problem solving

  • Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact and act as an advisor on professional issues with Aflac's senior management, and internal and external business contacts
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Management/Administration or related field
  • 6 to 8 or more years of successful work-related experience including Life, Absence and Disability product experience
  • Demonstrated ability to implement strategies that will increase number of active accounts, and penetration of existing accounts, and acquisition of new accounts Strong market relationships with large and national broker and consultants that specialize in large employers
  • Extensive finalist meeting experience
