Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for driving demand generation and executing territory strategies supporting Amgen’s Rare Disease portfolio, including KRYSTEXXA and TAVNEOS. The role requires strong clinical acumen, strategic account management skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate across multiple stakeholders involved in the patient journey.</p><p></p><h2><b>Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:</b></h2><ul><li><p><b>Drive sales growth</b> within your assigned territory by executing strategic <b>Plan of Action (POA) marketing initiatives.</b> This includes delivering compelling brand messaging, implementing targeted sales programs, leading medical educational initiatives, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.</p></li><li><p><b>Develop and strengthen customer relationships</b> by effectively managing accounts, ensuring seamless product access, proactively addressing reimbursement challenges, and maintaining product contracts to support long-term success.</p></li><li><p><b>Contribute to business strategy</b> by providing actionable insights on marketing effectiveness, conducting sales performance evaluations, and analyzing territory trends. Partner with the District Manager to develop and refine territory plans for maximum impact.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we expect of you</b></p><p>We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The Sr. Specialty Representative professional we seek is an individual contributor with these qualifications.</p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><p>Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience</p><h2>Or</h2><p>Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience</p><h2>Or</h2><p>High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience</p><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><div><div><ul><li>Experience in specialty pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales.</li><li>Experience in rare disease, including Rheumatology and/or Nephrology.</li><li>Familiarity with specialty markets and complex patient treatment pathways.</li><li>Understanding of specialty pharmacy operations and patient access processes.</li><li>Strong collaboration, account management, and territory planning skills.</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams</li><li>Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.</li></ul></div></div><p></p><h2><b>What you can expect of us</b></h2><p>As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
