Job Functions / Responsibilities Support the tool room and production by: Complete assigned PM’s and WO’s PM and repair tools for production Distribute tools and supplies to production as requested Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within assigned areas and perform the duties of the group safety monitor which includes: Complete weekly safety and housekeeping reviews Reviewing process equipment to assure safe operation Assist in updating the SDS documentation file Properly use, handling and disposal of hazardous materials within assigned area   Customer service which includes:     Distributing materials to customers Following up with customers on material needs or questions Maintaining stock of supplies and adjusting min/max levels as needed for production needs   Qualifications Previous experience with all types of tools and supplies.  Good working knowledge of equipment and tools preferred. Previous experience with stockroom and inventory management. Education in related technical skills highly desirable.  Minimum four years demonstrated proficiency in an appropriate craft or trade which includes two years with Kenworth.  High level of work organization, with strong demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Must be intimately familiar with product equipment, materials and manufacturing standards.  Possess barcode knowledge, P.C. experience, and have familiarity with a MMS (Maintenance Management System).
