Job Description

As a member of the Digital Ad Sales Operations group, the Digital Inventory Analyst is responsible for handling digital ad sales intelligence on a portfolio of ad products across NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, Digital, NBC Sports, Peacock and NBC Spot On properties through inventory forecasts, cross-functional reporting, and business flow system managements. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage projects independently, produce high-quality work with minimal errors, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This role will work closely with individual station Sales and Account Management teams to provide Inventory forecasts as well as fulfill ad hoc reporting requests. This position requires proficient Excel skills, knowledge of the digital advertising industry, and the ability to turn data into actionable sales information.

  • Provide inventory availability of ad products across our different platforms to station planners (including local inventory share availability of network products)
  • Conduct detailed analysis of inventory data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize inventory performance.
  • Independently research and resolve complex inventory issues, applying best practices and innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, translating the data into understandable insights.
  • Refine, develop and Q/A new inventory tools and reporting deemed necessary for operations
  • Create and maintain inventory documentation
  • Additional projects as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in Digital Inventory management, data analysis, or a related role within the digital industry.
  • Proficient Excel skills (sumifs, VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc.)
  • Working knowledge of the digital ad industry, including an understanding of online ad serving (Google Ad Manager, Freewheel...Etc.) systems
  • Experience with Digital Media Plan Booking Systems (Operative One)
