What you'll do As a Sales Engineer for Smart Trac at Tractian, you will be responsible for driving sales of our advanced tracking and monitoring solutions. Your role involves leveraging your technical expertise to understand client needs in asset tracking and maintenance, demonstrating how Smart Trac offers superior solutions, and facilitating the sales process from initial contact through to successful implementation, using HubSpot CRM to manage client interactions. Responsibilities Engage with potential clients to understand their asset monitoring and maintenance needs, positioning Smart Trac as a leading solution. Conduct detailed product demonstrations, highlighting the technical advantages and ROI of Smart Trac. Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage the sales pipeline, track client interactions, and report on sales progress. Collaborate with the technical team to tailor Smart Trac solutions to client-specific requirements. Provide technical consultations and responses to RFPs and RFIs. Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape in asset tracking and maintenance technology. Gather client feedback for continuous product improvement and customer satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in asset monitoring, IoT, or related technology sectors. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex technological solutions. Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and close sales. Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to conduct professional business conversations in both languages.
