Upwork Project: Fix Meta Business Manager, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn Configuration

I’m looking for an experienced Meta Business Manager expert to audit and clean up the technical configuration of my client’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.

The accounts have been connected and modified over time, and I believe there are legacy configuration issues preventing third-party tools from connecting properly.

In addition, I have another client whose LinkedIn account is experiencing connection issues with third-party marketing tools. I’d like you to troubleshoot and resolve that as well.

My goal is to have all social media accounts configured according to current best practices so they connect reliably with scheduling and marketing platforms.

Current Problems

I’m receiving errors such as:

“We couldn’t find an Instagram Professional account on your Facebook Page. If you haven’t linked one yet, connect an Instagram Professional account to your Facebook Page first.”

However, the Facebook Page and Instagram account appear to already be connected, which makes me think the configuration is incorrect or partially broken.

I’m also having trouble connecting:

* Publer

* A real estate marketing platform social scheduler

* One client’s LinkedIn account

What I Need

I need someone who can:

* Audit the entire Meta Business Manager setup

* Review all Facebook Pages, Business Manager assets, and Instagram accounts

* Identify incorrect, duplicate, or legacy connections

* Reconfigure everything according to Meta’s current best practices

* Verify the Instagram account is correctly set up as a Professional account

* Properly connect the Facebook Page and Instagram account

* Verify permissions for all users and business assets

* Troubleshoot and repair the LinkedIn account connection issues

* Test third-party integrations (especially Publer)

* Ensure scheduling tools can successfully publish to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Client Communication

You will need to communicate directly with my clients to schedule screen-sharing sessions. During those meetings, you’ll need to guide them through any steps that require access to their accounts, explain what needs to be changed, and verify everything is working correctly before ending the session.

I’m looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with clients in a professional, patient manner and can lead these troubleshooting sessions independently.

Requirements

Please apply only if you have significant experience with:

* Meta Business Manager

* Facebook Business Pages

* Instagram Professional Accounts

* Business Portfolio / Business Assets

* LinkedIn Company Pages and account permissions

* Third-party social media scheduling platforms

* Troubleshooting Meta permissions and connection issues

* Conducting remote screen-sharing support sessions with clients

When You Apply

Please include:

1. A brief description of similar Meta Business or LinkedIn troubleshooting projects you’ve completed.

2. Which scheduling tools you’ve worked with (Publer, Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Metricool, etc.).

3. Your experience troubleshooting LinkedIn integrations.

4. How you typically diagnose and resolve social media account configuration issues.

I’m looking for someone who can identify and fix the root cause—not just work around the symptoms. There is also the opportunity for additional ongoing technical marketing support if this project goes well.
