Our Technical Account Managers focus on delivering strategic technical initiatives for our customers in coordination with our Security Solutions teams. As a TAM, you will be collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Security Research teams to help some of our biggest clients.<br><br>What You'll Do:<br><ul><li>Own the Technical relationship with assigned accounts on an ongoing basis</li><li>Understand the customer's security strategy and advise on how Fastly's security products can help customers achieve their security goals</li><li>Focus on ensuring customers are successful with Fastly's security products, from implementation through to ongoing usage</li><li>Manage project status in our project management tools</li><li>Work on internal PS projects as assigned</li><li>Provide training to customers</li></ul><br><br>What We're Looking For: <br><ul><li>Prior experience in Cybersecurity, preferably Application Security</li><li>Experience with some or all the following foundational technologies: SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments; Apache/NGINX/IIS or other web server platforms and associated Application server technologies and frameworks</li><li>Unix/Linux or Windows systems administration</li><li>Scripting ability with any of the following: Python, Java, Go, PHP, Unix/Linux Shell, C#, or other common Web languages</li><li>Understanding of HTTP and API security best practices</li><li>A creative, out of the box problem solver</li><li>Ability and experience in troubleshooting software products</li><li>Proficiency in English is required</li></ul><br>We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: (Optional)<br><ul><li>HTTP protocol experience. We protect all types of web servers so everything we work with will involve HTTP protocol</li><li>Docker experience as it used by many of our customers</li><li>Kubernetes Know-how.
