Responsibilities • Monitoring security alerts Constantly monitor security alerts and notifications generated by various security tools and systems. • Incident detection and response Identify and investigate security incidents, analyze the nature of the threat, and take appropriate actions to mitigate and contain. • Security incident handling Execute incident response procedures, coordinate with other teams, document incidents, and ensure timely resolution. • Log analysis Analyze security event logs and other data sources to identify potential security incidents or anomalies. • Threat intelligence Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to enhance the organization3s security posture. • Security tool management Manage and operate security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems. • Collaboration Work closely with other IT and security teams to share information and improve overall security. • Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and security procedures. • Continuous improvement Participate in efforts to improve security policies, processes, and technologies. Education / Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies. • Proficiency with security tools, knowledge of network protocols, and experience with incident response procedures. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess and respond quickly to security incidents. • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members, management, and other stakeholders. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving cybersecurity landscape; works well in a collaborative team environment. • Certifications CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are preferred.
