Key Responsibilities

  • Perform audits for clients, ensuring financial records are accurate, compliant, and in line with industry standards.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business decisions.
  • Review and verify accounting transactions to ensure they are recorded in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Manage the tax preparation and filing processes for clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams across departments to analyze financial data and assist in decision-making.
  • Provide advice on business improvements related to financial management and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations in Kenya.

Working Hours

  • Full-time role with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
