Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management and Systems Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for overseeing financial systems, processes, and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in management accounting functions. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of both accounting principles and financial systems, contributing to the optimization of business performance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, financial statements, and reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • System Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of accounting software and systems, ensuring smooth integration and efficient operation of financial processes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, providing recommendations to management for cost control and performance improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting department, proposing and implementing solutions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to regulatory standards and financial best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including finance, operations, and IT, to streamline financial systems and address accounting system-related issues.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights into business performance, assisting management in making informed financial decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in management accounting, financial systems management, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management accounting or systems accounting role, ideally within a corporate environment.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Flexibility for remote or hybrid working arrangements, depending on the companys operational needs.
